About Us

Our simple mission

Movers and Shakers FC was set up in January 2022 to encourage people with neurological conditions, particularly Parkinson's, to keep active with Walking Football, whilst providing a safe, social and supportive environment focussing on fun, inclusivity and friendship.

Originally the brainchild of a 3rd year university student, Issie Lee-Fisher, weekly Walking Football sessions at the club are now run by physiotherapist Joanna Eastough, coach Mike Palmer and captain Simon Forrest.

Making strides towards positive well-being.
